I’m not sure who gave the kids a package of dinosaur tatoos for Christmas, might have been the Island Aunties and Uncles (or was it you Mom?)
Anyway, we had fun with them yesterday. When I came home from work, the kids ‘wrestled’ me to the ground and put a Tryceratops tatoo on my tummy. Grant had an egg stealer and Nicole had a Brontosaurus so we chased each other around and had dinosaur wars by roaring and grinding our tummies together. Fun huh? (My Laura, what an exciting life you lead!)
In other news, Ron took Nicole to the doctor yesterday for her pre-op health review. January 23rd is the date for her tonsillectomy. She’s in great shape. I can’t believe how much she’s grown. She weighs 48 pounds now. We were watching baby video the other day and it was amazing to look at those little chicken legs. She was 5 lbs when she was born (six weeks early).
I had lunch with my friend Dianne yesterday. It was great to see her. We used to spend so much time together running the dogs. That was when our lives were a bit more in sync. Its hard now seeing as I have little kids and she doesn’t. Oh well, its just a a matter of time…..we’ll be
doddering racing down the road again with our dogs. One good thing about lifetime friends, they don’t go away!
